Role impact

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design from discovery and problem definition through prototyping, testing, iteration, and launch.
• Translate advanced AI capabilities into simple, natural, and engaging customer interactions.
• Design mobile-first journeys across search, personalisation, account experiences, and product interactions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality experiences.
• Use visual design, interaction design, motion, and micro-interactions across mobile and web.
• Prototype and iterate using customer feedback, behavioural insights, and data.

Essential requirements

• 8+ years of product design or UX experience and a record of shipping end-to-end digital products.
• Experience designing shipped or rigorously prototyped conversational AI or LLM surfaces beyond standard chat widgets.
• Deep mobile-first interaction design experience covering fragmented sessions, thumb ergonomics, perceived latency, and resumability.
• Fluent understanding of LLM capabilities and trade-offs, including streaming, structured output, tool use, memory, latency, and failure modes.
• Ability to operate without rigid briefs and execute rapid explorations in a fast-changing environment.
• Must currently reside in the UAE.

Desirable requirements

• Experience with live-data prototyping tools or multimodal and voice interaction design.
• Experience designing consumer-facing products such as e-commerce, marketplaces, or other high-engagement B2C platforms.
• Experience designing for the MENA market, including Arabic RTL interfaces and multilingual code-switching.

Location and work arrangement

• The role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
• Hybrid arrangement requiring two to three days per week at the office.
• Candidates must already be based in the UAE.
