Role Overview
D-arc BUILD is seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and optimization of new and existing products.
The role transforms product concepts into reliable, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions that meet customer and business requirements.
The position is full-time and identified as senior-level.
Product Design and Development
- Lead new product design and development from concept through production and commercialization.
- Develop engineering designs, specifications, drawings, models, product specifications, and technical documentation.
- Translate customer, market, and business requirements into practical product design solutions.
- Create and optimize 3D CAD models, assemblies, engineering drawings, and product specifications.
- Conduct design analysis, calculations, simulations, tolerance analysis, and engineering evaluations.
- Select materials, components, manufacturing processes, and design solutions.
Testing and Improvement
- Develop prototypes and coordinate testing, validation, and product qualification activities.
- Analyze product performance, identify design weaknesses, and implement engineering improvements.
