***Position Summary***
The Senior Product Development Coordinator owns the critical path for product development from initial concept to retail execution.
This role is responsible for driving cross-functional project timelines, managing product data integrity, and navigating the licensor approval process for major entertainment properties.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned, detail-oriented project manager who proactively enforces deliverables, manages factory and supplier communications, and ensures on-time, on-brand execution of our consumer product portfolios.
*Core Focus: Critical Path & Project Management*

- Own and enforce the Product Development Critical Path
- , proactively holding internal cross-functional teams (Graphics, Sales, Operations) and external partners accountable to hard deadlines.

- Collaborate closely with the Graphics Department
- to ensure that artwork and packaging submissions are prepared, reviewed, and uploaded to licensor portals in a timely manner.

- Partner with the Director of Product Development & Licensing
- to review all active graphics tasks weekly, proactively identifying bottlenecks and pushing deliverables along to maintain the critical path.

- Lead comprehensive vendor and factory-facing communications
- , managing RFQ submissions, sample requests, and product testing protocols to keep manufacturing timelines on track.

*RFQ & Product Data Ownership*

Manage and execute the RFQ process
with global suppliers, ensuring all costing variables, specifications, and regulatory data are meticulously completed prior to system integration.

Maintain absolute data integrity within the PLM system
, serving as the master owner of product information, including costing data, HTS codes, packaging dimensions, and marketing images.

Act as the central point of contact
for the Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams for all item-related specifications, data verification, and seasonal Canva presentations.

Maintain agility to support ad-hoc business needs
, participating in special projects, cross-functional initiatives, or shifting priorities as directed by leadership to support the overall growth of the product portfolio.
***Qualifications (Updated for a Seasoned Candidate)***

Experience
: 4–6+ years of experience in product development, sourcing, or brand licensing (consumer products or retail background preferred).

Licensing Knowledge
: Proven track reference navigating entertainment licensing portals and managing brand compliance. (an asset)

Systems
: Advanced proficiency in PLM databases and Excel; experience creating commercial assets in Canva is a strong asset.
