Support strategic decisions, identify growth opportunities and drive commercial performance across Bupa's UK Insurance business.
Work with Product leaders to evaluate performance, assess initiatives and improve data-driven decision-making.
What you'll be doing
- Partner with Product leaders on strategic and commercial decision-making.
- Analyse customer behaviour, revenue, profitability and cost drivers.
- Develop frameworks for measuring business impact and value creation.
- Apply advanced analytics, forecasting and predictive modelling.
- Evaluate business initiatives using robust statistical methods.
- Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Provide enterprise data and commercial insight expertise.
- Mentor junior analysts and promote high-quality delivery.
Essential requirements
- Previous Senior Analyst or equivalent analytical experience.
- Strong commercial and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, SAS, R, or similar analytical programming languages.
- Experience building and applying statistical models or AI to business problems.
- Strong data visualisation skills using Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience leading complex analytical projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Desirable experience
- Experience evaluating causality and business outcomes using real-world data.
- Experience in insurance, financial services or a commercial analytics environment.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior analysts.
- Experience using Snowflake or an equivalent platform.
Salary and benefits
- Salary starts from £44,900, dependent on experience and location.
- Benefits include holiday allowance, health insurance, pension, life insurance and performance-based bonus.
Workplace and locations
- Hybrid working is available, including three days working from home.
- Listed locations include Bupa Place in Salford, Willow House in Staines and Angel Court in London.
