About the Role
The Senior Product Analyst will support strategic decisions, identify growth opportunities, and drive commercial performance across Bupa’s UK Insurance business.
The role combines technical analysis, commercial insight, stakeholder influence, and product performance evaluation.
The analyst will work closely with Product leaders to improve data-driven decision-making.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with Product leaders on strategic and commercial decision-making.
- Analyse customer behaviour, revenue, profitability, and cost drivers to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop repeatable frameworks to measure business impact and value creation.
- Apply advanced analytics, forecasting, and predictive modelling to optimise performance.
- Evaluate business initiatives using robust statistical methods.
- Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise data and commercial insight.
- Mentor junior analysts and promote high-quality analytical delivery.
Essential Requirements
- Previous Senior Analyst or equivalent analytical experience.
- Strong commercial and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, SAS, R, or similar analytical programming languages.
- Experience building and applying statistical models or AI to solve business problems.
- Strong data visualisation skills using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience leading complex analytical projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience evaluating causality and business outcomes using real-world data.
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or a commercial analytics environment.
- A track record of mentoring and developing junior analysts.
- Experience using Snowflake or an equivalent data platform.
