Role Overview

A leading UAE organisation is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager – Centre of Excellence.

The role drives procurement and supply chain excellence through data, analytics, technology, continuous improvement, and transformation.

The position reports to senior Supply Chain leadership and manages a team of three.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop procurement and supply chain dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting.
  • Analyze procurement, inventory, logistics, and warehouse performance to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead continuous improvement and transformation initiatives that reduce cost and improve service levels.
  • Use advanced analytics to provide actionable insights for strategic decisions.
  • Support supply chain strategy and align operational plans with organisational objectives.
  • Assess and recommend improvements to ERP, WMS, and TMS systems.
  • Optimize inventory using analysis of inventory levels, turnover, and demand forecasting.
  • Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead and develop a team of three.

Requirements

  • At least 9 years of relevant experience across procurement, supply chain, analytics, transformation, or operational excellence.
  • Strong experience in procurement or supply chain analytics, reporting, and performance management.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering continuous improvement or transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain systems and technology, ideally including ERP, WMS, and/or TMS platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

Advantageous Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies would be highly advantageous.
  • A master's degree and 12 or more years of relevant experience would be advantageous.
