Job Summary
NB Entrepreneurs is seeking a Procurement Engineer – Mechanical for its Procurement/Purchase department.
The role manages procurement of mechanical materials, equipment, components, and engineering items.
The position requires technical product knowledge, supplier management, negotiation, and purchase coordination.
Role Requirements
- The stated experience range is 5–12 years.
- Candidates should have technical knowledge of mechanical products and engineering materials.
- The role requires reviewing technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, BOMs, and material requirements.
- The role requires supplier evaluation, quotation comparison, price negotiation, and purchase coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure mechanical materials, components, equipment, tools, and engineering items for project and operational requirements.
- Study technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, BOMs, and material requirements before procurement.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors for mechanical products.
- Source MS and stainless steel items, pipes, valves, fittings, pumps, bearings, fasteners, fabrication items, structural components, mechanical spares, and other engineering materials.
