Role Overview
QAD is building an AI-native, agentic ERP and a System of Action for global manufacturing teams.
The role is the senior technical authority for full-stack systems and bridges architectural strategy with hands-on execution.
The position drives architecture across frontend, backend, microservices, cloud infrastructure, and AI-enabled applications.
Responsibilities
- Define and govern the multi-year technical vision and architectural roadmap across the application lifecycle.
- Establish design patterns, API contracts, micro-frontend and microservices blueprints, and code governance standards.
- Conduct design reviews, author architectural decision records, resolve performance bottlenecks, and write reference code.
- Architect frameworks for Adaptive Applications and agentic AI workflows embedded in enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, DevOps/SRE, and senior engineering leaders on scalable architectures.
- Mentor Senior Staff, Principal, and Lead Engineers across multiple feature pods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 14+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- 5+ years as a Technical Architect or System Architect overseeing multi-team systems.
- Advanced experience with web frameworks, micro-frontends, design systems, state management, and web performance.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, APIs, event-driven design, backend runtimes, databases, and message brokers.
- Experience with cloud-native architecture, security, CI/CD automation, and high-availability design.
Workplace
- The role is based in Pune and requires on-site technical leadership with 3–4 days in the office per week.
