Senior Principal Engineer, Solutions Architecture

Overview

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact initiatives centered on Dell storage solutions, owning end-to-end architectures and complex integration strategies across enterprise and AI-driven environments.
• Prototype solutions, validate design patterns, drive ecosystem integrations and data management tools, and ensure non-functional requirements—performance, scalability, resilience, and security—are met at scale.
• Deliver comprehensive technical architectural designs and detailed implementation plans for storage deployments, with a particular emphasis on AI/ML and data-intensive workloads.
• Lead and execute complex data migration engagements leveraging both native Dell migration tooling and qualified third-party migration platforms, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity throughout the lifecycle.
• Participate in and oversee the installation, customization, and integration of Dell Technologies solutions within diverse customer environments, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and best practices.
• Conduct and lead design reviews, proofs-of-concept (PoCs), and performance benchmarking exercises to validate solution architectures against customer requirements and workload characteristics.
• Document reusable design standards, reference architectures, and operational runbooks; mentor fellow engineers in advanced design techniques, emerging technologies, and delivery excellence.
