Role Overview
Serve as the technical authority for electrical works across complex capital projects.
Lead work from design review and contractor oversight through project handover and warranty management.
Act as the primary technical reference for highly complex electrical systems.
Client and Location
The client is a Dubai government entity.
The role is based in Dubai and includes regular visits to active project sites.
Electrical Technical Responsibilities
- Review electrical designs, drawings, plans, and materials for compliance with technical standards and specifications.
- Lead energy efficiency strategy and power-supply resilience for critical facilities.
- Determine redundancy levels, grounding, and lightning protection philosophy.
- Approve single-line diagrams, shop drawings, short-circuit calculations, protective coordination, and arc flash risk analyses.
- Approve major deviations, value engineering decisions, and modifications.
