Role Overview
The role handles pricing and quotations for OOG, heavy-lift, breakbulk, and project cargo shipments.
The position is associated with freight forwarding and project cargo operations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze cargo dimensions, weight, volume, and load lists to determine transportation solutions.
- Prepare competitive freight quotations based on customer requirements.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters, and overseas agents for rates.
- Prepare and review load lists, cargo details, and shipping requirements.
- Negotiate freight rates, surcharges, and service terms with carriers and service providers.
- Evaluate routing and transportation options for project and OOG cargo.
- Maintain freight rates and supplier or carrier databases.
- Coordinate with operations and sales to ensure quotations are feasible.
- Follow up on quotations and support conversion of inquiries into confirmed business.
- Monitor market rates and competitor pricing.
- Prepare accurate quotations within the required turnaround time.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 8,000 to AED 12,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work is performed in person in Dubai, UAE.
