Position Summary
Senior Power Electronics Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and optimization of power electronic systems and equipment. This role focuses on power conversion technologies, including AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC converters, motor drives, power integration, and power systems. The engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure reliable, efficient, and cost-effective solutions that meet technical, safety, and customer requirements. Working on next generation advanced power systems technology.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop power electronic converters, inverters, rectifiers, AC/DC, DC/DC converters and motor drive systems.
Perform component selection and sizing for power semiconductors, magnetics, capacitors, and protection devices.
Develop electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams.
Design control algorithms for power conversion and motor control applications.
Evaluate and implement emerging power semiconductor technologies such as SiC and GaN devices.
