Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed monitoring of portfolio financial and non financial performance against investment theses and budget targets
- Drive value creation initiatives across the portfolio, collaborating with PortCo leadership to optimize operations, margins, and growth
- Report regularly on portfolio performance, synthesizing complex financial and operational data into clear updates for senior leadership and investors
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ongoing relationships and communication between the fund and PortCo management teams
- Conduct operational reviews and track key performance indicators to identify underperformance and implement corrective actions
Requirements
- Based in the UAE
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience
- Portfolio construction and risk management expertise
- 8+ years in private equity portfolio management, corporate development, management consulting, or operational role within a PE holding company
- Proven track record of tracking PE PortCo performance metrics and executing value creation playbooks
- Familiarity with financial and non financial data structures for PE assets
- Strong understanding of private corporate governance, business transformation, and equity stakeholder management
- Exceptional analytical and strategic problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast paced environments

Overview

- The ideal candidate will have prior experience in portfolio management, operations, or value creation within private equity or a holding company and will be based in the UAE.

- Strong understanding of private corporate governance, business transformation, and equity stakeholder management
