Role Purpose-
Overseeing Venue Technology project management, operation management, and maintenance processes, providing analytical insights, and facilitating communication among the section teams and stakeholders.
Aiming to monitor and enhance the delivery process and control of project, optimize resource utilization, reduce the systems and services interruption and increase availability, enhancing risks management and reporting within the Venue Technology section.
Projects Monitoring And Reporting
- Generate regular reports and update dashboards to provide insights into project progress, issues, risks, resource utilization, and budgetary performance.
- Work with the project teams to analyse project data to identify risks, dependencies and opportunities, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Analyze response time and action by the operation and maintenance support team on the system alerts, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to optimize their performance aiming to minimize downtime and services disruptions.
- Monitor and inspect the process and actions taken on venue technology systems performance and health check status. Includes preventive maintenance activities, Corrective maintenance, and periodical system performance tests.
Resource Management
- Collaborate with project managers and operation managers to forecast resource requirements and activities schedule across projects and venues.
- Optimize resource utilization and recommending adjustments to activities schedules and operational requirements.
- Monitor the project progress and payment terms to align with the planned cashflow and budget.
Stakeholder Communication
- Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management, ensuring alignment on project objectives, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Act as a focal point/Liaison coordination with external parties for Venue Technology services discussion
- Interface with third-party vendors and service providers involved in supporting venue technology systems and services and escalate issues as needed to ensure high performance and timely resolution
- In coordination with the service leads monitor vendor performance, analyze their performance to the agreed SLAs, and monitor adherence to contractual obligations.
Event Operations Coordination
- Provide regular status updates on the event’s technological requirements, resources, timelines, and bump in and bump out activities.
- Provide regular status updates to all stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, issues, and next steps.
- Facilitate communication and coordinate among teams to ensure consistent and clear communication with all stakeholders.
Qualification-
10+ years of work experience in IT
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, computer science or related field.
Certifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
Required Skillset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Must be well experienced across project management practices and IT Venue Technology Operations Management for building management or AV/ELV solutions, and venues.
