Senior Platform Engineer

Role and Experience

Essential Responsibilities

• Serve as a cloud subject matter expert for design, architecture, and deployment engagements.
• Support AWS, Azure, or GCP solutions using automated orchestration and configuration management.
• Develop and improve internal tools, scripts, and processes that improve service delivery, repeatability, and client outcomes.
• Deploy security tooling such as Tenable, Trend Micro, Aqua Security, Microsoft Defender, and Burp Suite.
• Research and use native services from leading cloud providers in deployments.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Strong experience with AWS or Azure platform capabilities and services.
• Experience working in technical teams of three or more people in an Agile environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective technical documentation skills, including diagrams and written descriptions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• At least 5 years of directly relevant systems engineering and architecture experience.
