Senior Platform Engineer

5+ years experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Systems Engineering

Proficient with at least one high-level programming language - Python, Go, or whatever else you like

Strong understanding of networking, containers, security and scalability

Strong Kubernetes fundamentals and experience with Helm or other common tools in the ecosystem

Strong infrastructure as code skills (we use Terraform)

Broad experience across many cloud services within a major cloud provider (we use AWS)

Experience with observability platforms (we use Datadog)

Experience writing CI/CD pipelines (we use GitHub Actions)

Experience being part of an on-call rotation to fix urgent issues

The following are nice to have but not required: Experience with Kubernetes tools such as Vault, Sealed Secrets, Consul, Prometheus, etc. Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake, and experience building and managing data infrastructure Cybersecurity and/or regulatory compliance experience (HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc)
