Senior Planning Engineer

Job Description

What You Will Do

• Develop and manage a master schedule integrating multiple packages and interdependencies.
• Assess the impact of schedule or project changes across projects.
• Develop, implement, and maintain project controls systems and tools.
• Evaluate planning information, identify delays, and recommend mitigation measures.
• Prepare progress reports and presentations addressing program issues.
• Assess Extension of Time and Disruption claims using delay analysis methodologies.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to planning engineers.
• Record risks and conflicts in the project risk register and conduct what-if analyses.
• Support client expectation management and resolve planning issues.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or construction management, from a recognized institution.
• 16+ years of experience in planning and scheduling infrastructure projects.
• Experience with infrastructure and utilities projects and construction industry coordination requirements.
• Proficiency in scheduling software, particularly Primavera P6.

Desired Skills

• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Management capabilities.
• GCC experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and regulations.
