Senior Planning Engineer MEP

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline, recovery, revised, and mitigation programmes.
• Monitor progress against approved programmes, milestones, and contractual requirements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and performance analysis.
• Track critical path, float, delays, and schedule slippage.
• Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, commercial teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Review subcontractor programmes and align them with the overall project schedule.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules with site teams.
• Analyze delays and support Extension of Time and delay claims.
• Monitor planned versus actual progress, productivity, and resource requirements.
• Maintain project update, progress quantity, and schedule revision records.
• Participate in progress meetings and provide schedule recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 8–12 years of planning experience, preferably in MEP, construction, or building services projects.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
