Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, update, and maintain detailed project baseline schedules using Primavera P6
- Execute monthly progress measurements and Earned Value Management (EVM) assessments
- Formulate and implement robust recovery and mitigation plans for schedule variances
- Act as central liaison between project teams, engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractors for progress reporting
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly progress reports for internal management and client submissions
- Lead preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims, execute delay impact analyses, and draft formal program narratives
Requirements
- Minimum of 8+ years of dedicated, relevant planning and project controls experience
- Extensive experience in large scale construction, heavy infrastructure, industrial, marine, or mixed use development projects
- Advanced, expert level proficiency in Primavera P6 and modern scheduling techniques

- Valid Iqama ID minimum of 3 months 2026

Job Overview
- A leading Construction Project is urgently hiring for the role of Senior Planning Engineer
QUALIFICATION
- Minimum of 8+ years of dedicated, relevant planning and project controls experience.
- Extensive experience operating within large scale construction, heavy infrastructure, industrial, marine, or mixed use development projects is highly preferred.
- Advanced, expert level proficiency in Primavera P6 and modern scheduling techniques.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as PMP or PSP are highly advantageous.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, monitor, update, and rigorously maintain detailed project baseline schedules using Primavera P6.
- Execute monthly progress measurements and Earned Value Management (EVM) assessments to track project health.
- Formulate and implement robust recovery and mitigation plans for any identified schedule variances.
- Act as the central liaison between project teams, engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractors to ensure 100% accurate progress reporting.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly progress reports for internal management and direct client submissions.
- Lead the preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims, execute delay impact analyses, and draft formal program narratives and contractual submissions.
