Arabian Dyar is hiring a Senior Planning Engineer in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
This is a full-time, on-site role.
The position focuses on project schedules, production planning, progress tracking, and project controls.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules.
- Coordinate production-planning activities.
- Track progress against milestones and targets.
- Analyze project data and prepare forecasts.
- Provide reports to project managers and stakeholders.
- Monitor performance, risks, and variances.
- Recommend corrective actions to keep plans on track.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and management teams.
- Align project objectives, resource availability, and timelines.
Qualifications
- Three to five years of planning experience is required.
- Strong planning and production-planning skills are required.
- Solid analytical skills and project-control capabilities are required.
- Effective communication skills are required for cross-functional collaboration and reporting.
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
- Relevant professional certifications in planning or project control are advantageous.
- Experience in regional construction or engineering projects is preferred.
- The role requires on-site work and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to work under time constraints are required.
Tools and skills
- Proficiency in Primavera or MS Project is required.
- Strong MS Excel skills are required.
