To be successful in this role you will possess:
Extensive clinical experience in the specialist area of chronic pain.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including sound decision-making and the ability to manage complex issues such as organisational change, staff capability, conflict resolution, and collaboration.
Demonstrated ability to inspire, influence, and motivate staff, and to contribute to a positive and compassionate organisational culture.
Significant knowledge of and experience in quality improvement and research processes, with a strong commitment to best-practice clinical standards.
Demonstrated ability to plan, develop and implement service delivery initiatives to promote quality patient care and optimum organisational outcomes.
Demonstrated capacity to conduct supervision and performance management and to lead the professional development of others.
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice) . Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
