Reporting to the Superintendent People , you will act as the primary People contact for your allocated portfolio, delivering high-quality advisory support across the employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
Providing end-to-end generalist HR advice across performance management, employee engagement, learning and development, and coaching
Managing employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary processes, and outcomes
Advising on awards, industrial agreements, legislation, policies, and procedures
Supporting and delivering cyclical HR activities such as remuneration and salary reviews
Coaching leaders to take accountability for people decisions and build strong, engaged teams
Maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS data
Supporting injury management, return-to-work, and fitness-for-work processes
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the People function
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Site Leadership Teams

You are a confident HR generalist who thrives in a site-based, fast-paced environment and is comfortable dealing with complex ER/IR matters.
You will bring:
A degree qualification in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Business, or similar (or demonstrated experience in lieu)
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in an HR or People Advisor role, ideally within the mining or resources sector
Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations, and HR best practice
Exceptional communication, influencing, and coaching skills
Proven ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Intermediate MS Office skills and exposure to HR systems
A current C Class Driver’s Licence
