Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Oracle APEX applications
- Develop complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and database objects
- Build responsive web applications, dashboards, and reporting solutions
- Integrate Oracle APEX applications with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
- Optimize application performance and database queries
- Manage application enhancements, troubleshooting, and bug fixes
- Ensure application security, scalability, and maintainability
- Install, configure, monitor, patch, and maintain Oracle databases
- Manage RMAN backups, Data Guard, disaster recovery, and database security

Oracle APEX Development
- Design, develop, and implement Oracle APEX applications.
- Develop complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and database objects.
- Build responsive web applications, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Integrate Oracle APEX applications with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Optimize application performance and database queries.

Database Administration (DBA)

Qualifications
- Active Oracle APEX and Oracle DBA certifications are strictly required
- Strong database skills, including Databases and Data Modeling, with proven experience in designing, optimizing, and maintaining relational database structures.
- 5+ years of Oracle APEX development experience and expertise in Oracle development tools, specifically Oracle APEX and Oracle Reports, for building and supporting enterprise applications and reporting solutions.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and web service integration. Experience integrating Oracle applications with third party systems. Experience with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive development.
- Hands on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, including data integration, transformation, and loading between systems.
- Solid Software Development background, including coding standards, version control, testing, and deployment in an Oracle centric environment.
- Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, security, and high availability configurations.
- Ability to gather and analyze requirements, propose technical designs, and communicate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant Oracle certifications are an advantage.
- Several years of experience in senior Oracle APEX development and Oracle DBA roles, ideally within enterprise or mission critical environments.
- Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on site in Doha, Qatar as part of a collaborative team.
