As an engineer within Nokia’s Optical Engineering Team focused on the next generation transponder/muxponder product family, you will work closely with x-functional teams including HW, DSP, FW, and SW, to optimize performance of client and line side optics. Responsibilities include writing test plans, executing design validation/testing, as well as reviewing test results to support full integration of the line modules on various product platforms and assisting product teams to drive product cost and performance. Responsibilities
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a design and development function for optical line system products
- 2 years of engineering experience with PhD in appropriate discipline •
- 3 years of experience with MS
- Prefer years of experience integrating various and adjacent disciplines for product development, as calibration automation, test automation, electrical, FPGA, FW, SW

Qualifications
- You have:
- Master’s degree or higher in Optical Engineering, Optics, Physics or Electrical Engineering
- Optical systems engineering • Optical communications product design and development
- Write engineering and design specifications
- Write test plans, review test results and judge design margins to support compliance to specifications over life of product
- Accountable leadership
- Highly organized with strong attention to details
- Superb communication: verbal and written
- You have: - Master’s degree or higher in Optical Engineering, Optics, Physics or Electrical Engineering - Optical systems engineering • Optical communications product design and development - Write engineering and design specifications - Write test plans, review test results and judge design margins to support compliance to specifications over life of product - Accountable leadership
