Respond to quality-related concerns raised by the QC Inspector, including size, weight, or mechanical property issues.

Inform the finishing roller and, if the issue is major or may result in non-prime finished product, stop rolling and inform the finishing roller and Shift In-Charge immediately.

React promptly to alarms appearing on the monitor by informing the concerned area or department and following the required operational response.

Record the start and end time of any mill delay and ensure delay details are communicated accurately.

Record all cobbles occurring during the shift, including relevant operational details when required.

At the end of the shift, prepare the delay and production report in consultation with the Shift In-Charge.
