Design, lead and secure mission-critical platforms for government and private-sector clients.

Working arrangement
- The role offers hybrid work with 50% attendance in the Sydney CBD office.
- The position supports flexible working arrangements and autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Review and improve Scope of Works documents for pre-sales consultants and architects.
- Provide technical expertise for network and security solution planning, installation, configuration and support.
- Produce low-level designs and improve technical documentation.
- Prepare handover documentation for transition into ongoing support.
- Identify and resolve delivery issues proactively.
- Become a trusted advisor within key customer accounts.
- Mentor other engineers.
Required experience
- At least 10 years of experience in network and security-related roles.
- Strong technical knowledge across Cisco routing and switching, SD-WAN, Azure, AWS, Palo Alto, Fortinet and Wi-Fi.
- Experience producing low-level designs and delivering complex network and security solutions.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with proven document and report writing ability.
- Australian citizenship and eligibility for security clearance.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience in an MSP or consulting environment is highly regarded.
- Previous experience mentoring other team members is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Palo Alto or F5 are highly regarded.
