FinXL is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a consulting engagement supporting a leading banking client.
The role will design, implement, and hand over networking constructs for large-scale core-banking application migration phases.
Job details
- The position is a contract role in Sydney within the Cloud and Infrastructure discipline.
- The assignment supports a major network migration for core banking technology.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure complex networking constructs across Cisco ASA and ACI.
- Translate high-level design specifications into concrete firewall configurations.
- Execute passive and canary deployments and validate rule sets.
- Configure and manage F5 GTM and LTM appliances for traffic distribution.
- Prepare and execute change control and rollback procedures.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery compliance through F5 integration.
- Monitor post-deployment performance and maintain documentation for handover.
Key skills and experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ASA, Cisco ACI, and APIC environments.
