Senior Network Engineer

The Senior Network Engineer will provide advanced technical expertise in the design, configuration, monitoring, documentation, and maintenance of network infrastructure components, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and related hardware.

The role will also support network topology evaluations, system upgrades, change control processes, and troubleshooting of wired and wireless network environments.

• Design, configure, implement, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless network environments.
• Support complex switching and routing environments, including enterprise-level routing protocols and hierarchical network architectures.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and related network infrastructure components.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues affecting wired, wireless, and virtual local area network (VLAN) environments.
• Identify, track, and coordinate lifecycle management activities, including hardware and software upgrades to network assets.
• Evaluate network topology and recommend improvements to enhance redundancy, scalability, resilience, and overall network performance.
• Maintain and update accurate network documentation, including configuration files, diagrams, asset inventories, and change records.
• Follow established change management procedures to document hardware and software requirements related to system and network modifications.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and technical requirements aligned with business needs.
• Provide support during scheduled maintenance windows and respond to after-hours network outages as required.
