Senior Network Engineer

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Design secure and scalable network solutions using Fortinet and complementary technologies.
• Deploy and integrate network, security, SD-WAN and telephony services, including migrations and upgrades.
• Monitor network availability and performance and maintain service records and asset registers.
• Diagnose complex faults, restore service and coordinate escalations during incidents.
• Apply security standards and support governance, audit and risk requirements.
• Produce network designs, diagrams, test plans, procedures, runbooks and service reports.
• Collaborate with service desk, infrastructure teams, ISPs, operators and third-party vendors.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve technical standards, reusable processes and service quality.

Candidate requirements

• At least five years of specialist Fortinet experience and ten or more years of broader network engineering experience.
