Job Summary
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, architecting, implementing, and performing advanced maintenance on the organization's critical IT network infrastructure.
This role serves as a key escalation point for complex technical issues, delivers projects, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of all enterprise networks.
The ideal candidate must be well-versed in cloud infrastructure (public and private clouds) and related security functions.
Operations & Engineering
- Perform as Level 2 technical escalation point for all network-related incidents, performing deep-dive analysis, packet captures, and root cause analysis to permanently resolve persistent or critical network outages.
- Manage and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies and solutions, ensuring compliance with defined Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot advanced routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and/or EIGRP in a diverse routing infrastructure.
- Perform firewall administration, VPNs (Site-to-Site and Remote Access), and network security policies to protect the network perimeter and internal segments.
- Monitor network performance using advanced tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Dynatrace) to ensure optimal health, capacity utilization, and proactive problem resolution.
