Design, implement, and optimise secure, scalable, and resilient Managed File Transfer solutions within hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available MFT solutions across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.
- Manage Axway B2Bi and IBM Connect:Direct platforms and provide Level 3 support for business-critical workflows.
- Implement observability and logging using Splunk, Dynatrace, and Grafana.
- Provide technical leadership, best practices, and knowledge sharing for the operations team.
- Participate in ITIL incident, problem, change, and capacity management processes.
- Serve as a client liaison and escalation point for internal and external customers.
- Drive continuous service improvement through automation and service standardisation.
- Manage vulnerability remediation, patching, upgrades, and hardware lifecycle activities.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least 8 years of Managed File Transfer administration, automation, and cloud integration experience.
- Deep understanding of SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, SSH, and Connect:Direct protocols.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise MFT platforms and in-house file transfer solutions.
- Experience with SSL certificate renewals, PGP encryption and decryption, and Connect:Direct authentication.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms, Autosys, and Linux or Windows operating systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and coordinate with service delivery and engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Cloud certifications in AWS or Azure.
- Experience migrating on-premises MFT platforms to cloud-based solutions.
- Exposure to Premier DataOne products, IBM Sterling Secure Proxy, or related MFT tools.
Work Schedule and Location
- The role is fully based in the office with no hybrid working.
- The schedule may follow APAC hours from 6 am to 3 pm or EMEA hours from 2 pm to 11 pm.
- The stated work locations are Bangalore or Hyderabad, and relocation is required for candidates unwilling to relocate.

The Middleware Data Transport team supports multiple MFT products across the bank.
The Platform Engineering SRE function supports large-scale file transfers, messaging, servers, websites, and Autosys job runs.
