Responsibilities
- Prepare and implement project specific QA/QC plans
- Review technical submittals, method statements, and material approvals
- Coordinate inspections and tests with consultants, clients, and subcontractors
- Monitor site installation works and identify non conformances
- Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation including ITPs, checklists, test reports, and as built records
- Support commissioning activities and participate in design and constructability reviews
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of quality processes
Requirements
- Strong MEP engineering background with hands on experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and ELV systems for large scale building or data center projects
- Proven experience in QA/QC management including development and implementation of QA/QC plans, ITPs, method statements, and quality procedures
- Solid knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., BS, IEC, NFPA, ASHRAE) and familiarity with data center standards
- Experience in inspection and testing of MEP installations, witness of factory and site acceptance tests
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
- Strong documentation, reporting, and record keeping skills

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site role for a Senior MEP QA/QC Engineer at HATCO in Qatar.
- The role oversees quality assurance and control for MEP and ELV systems on data center and building projects.
Day to Day Responsibilities
