Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily MEP operations across multiple projects, contracts, or facilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality
- Oversee project execution to ensure completion within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Manage and coordinate MEP teams, including engineers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors
- Monitor project performance, resource allocation, manpower utilization, and operational KPIs
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, company policies, and HSE requirements
- Review project schedules, progress reports, technical submissions, and operational plans
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities for MEP systems where applicable
- Control operational costs, monitor budgets, and identify opportunities for cost optimization
- Support procurement activities, vendor management, and material planning to ensure uninterrupted operations
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and audits to ensure quality and compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 8–12 years of experience in MEP contracting, facilities management, or building services operations
- Proven experience managing multiple projects, maintenance contracts, or operational teams
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection, and building services
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, contract administration, and resource planning
- Familiarity with local authority regulations, building codes, and safety standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, project management software, and reporting tools
