Role Overview
Senior MEP Engineer responsible for technical delivery of complex and high-profile building projects.
Owns MEP packages from early project development through detailed design, tender, construction, and handover.
Works with architects, structural engineers, consultants, contractors, clients, authorities, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Own assigned MEP packages across concept, schematic, detailed design, tender, and construction stages.
- Develop and coordinate HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, ELV, and related systems.
- Prepare and review calculations, reports, specifications, equipment schedules, drawings, and technical documents.
- Lead multidisciplinary coordination and resolve design conflicts, interfaces, and engineering challenges.
- Review Revit MEP models, AutoCAD drawings, BIM deliverables, and coordinated documentation.
- Participate in BIM coordination, clash detection, and model reviews using Revit and Navisworks.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and contractor proposals.
- Provide construction support for site issues, RFIs, technical queries, and coordination requirements.
- Support UAE authority submissions and approvals and apply relevant international codes.
- Contribute to value engineering, quality checks, mentoring, client meetings, and timely project delivery.
