Drake & Scull International is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to lead and manage the mechanical engineering team in Dubai. The role involves verifying design calculations, reviewing technical submissions, coordinating with other disciplines, and ensuring project compliance.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team, including site engineers and supervisors
- Verify mechanical design calculations and equipment selections
- Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, ITPs, and other technical submissions
- Coordinate mechanical works with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and other disciplines
- Resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with contract documents, local regulations, and project specifications
- Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Monitor site progress, productivity, quality, and resource utilization
- Support procurement, testing and commissioning, project handover, and close out activities
- Demonstrate strong commercial awareness by identifying variations, supporting value engineering, and managing cost and contractual implications
