Role Overview
Parsons is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for its expanding team in Tabuk.
The role supports design review, coordination, and construction supervision of mechanical systems across infrastructure and building projects.
The engineer will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure technical compliance and engineering quality.
Responsibilities
- Review mechanical designs, drawings, calculations, and specifications for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and building management systems.
- Monitor contractors on-site through technical inspections against approved shop drawings and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architectural, civil, and electrical teams to resolve design interfaces, space conflicts, and technical issues.
- Evaluate material submittals, requests for information, and method statements against project requirements.
- Participate in testing and commissioning before handover.
- Support progress reporting, milestone tracking, and interfaces with utility authorities or clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is mandatory.
- At least 10 years of professional engineering experience in design review or construction supervision.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC load calculation software such as HAP.
- Good working knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and ASHRAE, NFPA, and ASPE standards.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with infrastructure or medium-to-large-scale building projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly to site teams and clients.
- A proactive, collaborative, and technically growth-oriented approach.
