Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Mechanical Engineer role based in Jiddah.
The role oversees mechanical system design, analysis, and implementation for civil and construction projects.
The position supports project planning, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems for civil and construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and project requirements.
- Develop and review mechanical designs and prepare technical documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and provide guidance to junior engineers.
- Support project planning and supervise installation and maintenance activities on-site.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues on-site and contribute to continuous improvement in engineering practices.
Technical Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering applied to construction and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in machine design for developing and optimizing mechanical components and systems.
- Advanced CAD skills for detailed drawings, models, and technical specifications.
- Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and risk management.
- Background in research and development for improving mechanical solutions, methods, and technologies.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects is preferred, particularly in a senior or lead role.
- Ability to work on-site in Jiddah and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with international and local engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail and a focus on reliability.
