- Assess pump selection, hydraulic performance, valve arrangements, pressure requirements, piping layouts, equipment foundations, and control system interfaces
- Coordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical, instrumentation, landscape, utilities, and control system disciplines
- Provide technical guidance to engineers and inspectors and resolve mechanical design, installation, testing, and commissioning issues
- Monitor construction progress, conduct regular site inspections, and verify compliance with approved drawings, quality requirements, and safety standards
- Oversee testing, commissioning, performance verification, snagging, as built documentation, O&M manuals, and project handover deliverables
- Prepare technical reports, review comments, risk assessments, recommendations, and progress updates for client and project management review
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven work experience of at least 10 years in pumping stations, irrigation systems, mechanical infrastructure, equipment installation, and construction supervision
- In depth knowledge of pumping systems, irrigation networks, pump selection, hydraulic calculations, valves, piping, equipment installation, and commissioning
- Proficiency in using CAD software, pump selection software, hydraulic calculation tools, and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferably fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)

Job Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer (Irrigation & Pumping) to join our team.
- The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design review, planning, supervision, and execution of irrigation systems, pumping stations, and related mechanical infrastructure.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.
- Proven work experience of at least 10 years in pumping stations, irrigation systems, mechanical infrastructure, equipment installation, and construction supervision.
- In depth knowledge of pumping systems, irrigation networks, pump selection, hydraulic calculations, valves, piping, equipment installation, and commissioning.
- Proficiency in using CAD software, pump selection software, hydraulic calculation tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex mechanical data and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, clients, and authorities.
- Construction and management of pumping and irrigation systems, preferably fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
