Job Description
- The Senior Mechanical Engineer plays a critical role in leading and managing mechanical engineering aspects for luxury residential projects.
- Responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems while ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Will also manage project budgets, supervise teams, and facilitate communication with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of MEP shop drawings and coordination drawings.
- Oversee the MEP design process for company development projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
- Prepare BOQs for tender submissions in accordance with vendor lists and project requirements.
- Ensure all mechanical systems comply with local regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
- Participate in technical meetings with design and supervision consultants.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to the site team for project execution.
- Inspect and approve mechanical site installations to maintain high quality standards.
- Ensure project timelines are met and site works align with the overall construction schedule.
- Implement site testing and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Act as a key liaison between the company, project stakeholders, and third party consultants.
- Prepare and submit material submittals, Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and Work Inspection Requests (WIRs).
