Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical engineering activities across MEP projects
- Design and review mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection in compliance with codes and standards

Requirements
- Strong Mechanical Engineering background with proven experience in building services and MEP systems (10+ years)
- Proficiency in Machine Design and mechanical system analysis for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection applications
- Advanced Computer Aided Design (CAD) and BIM skills for reviewing detailed mechanical drawings and models
- Demonstrated Project Management capabilities including planning, scheduling, coordination, and stakeholder communication
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline
- Familiarity with international and local standards (e.g., ISO, OHSAS, ADDC, ADCE, ADCD) and regulatory compliance requirements
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and work effectively in a fast paced on site environment
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills with attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
- Previous experience in Abu Dhabi or the wider GCC region and professional certifications preferred

Role Description
- The Senior Mechanical Engineer is a full time, on site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for leading mechanical engineering activities across MEP projects.
- Design and review mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and authority requirements.
- Oversee BIM design outputs, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and supervisors.
- Prepare and approve technical documentation, perform calculations, review drawings and specifications, and support installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Collaborate with project management, clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely delivery, quality, and safety throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
