Senior Mechanical Draftsman position focused primarily on HVAC drafting, MEP contracting, and site coordination.

The role requires developing coordinated and constructible mechanical drawings suitable for site execution.

Minimum 7 years of Mechanical Draftsman experience; 8–10 or more years is preferred.
Major HVAC drafting and coordination experience within MEP contracting projects is required.
Four to five years of UAE or GCC MEP contracting experience is strongly preferred.
Excellent command of AutoCAD 2D is mandatory; Revit MEP/BIM knowledge is highly preferred.
A diploma or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Mechanical Drafting, or a related field is required.
Immediate availability is required.

Strong knowledge of chilled-water, DX, VRF/VRV, ductwork, ventilation, exhaust, and condensate drainage systems.
Working knowledge of plumbing and firefighting systems for multidisciplinary MEP coordination.
Ability to coordinate HVAC equipment layouts, duct and pipe routing, elevations, sections, risers, and installation details.
Ability to review IFC and design drawings and identify discrepancies, missing information, and coordination issues.

Prepare mechanical shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
Coordinate mechanical services with electrical, plumbing, firefighting, architectural, and structural disciplines.
Identify and resolve MEP clashes and ceiling coordination issues before site execution.
Incorporate consultant comments, RFIs, design changes, and approved material or equipment requirements into drawings.
Prepare builders-work requirements, sleeves, openings, equipment foundations, and related details.
Conduct site verification and coordinate with engineers, site teams, and other disciplines.

Work location is in person.
The role requires practical understanding of site installation, access clearances, constructability, and site verification.

Salary is stated as AED 10,000 or more per month.
The posting also lists a pay range of AED 9,000–10,000 per month.
Final compensation depends on experience, HVAC expertise, project background, software proficiency, and technical assessment performance.
