About the Role
QatarEnergy LNG is seeking a Senior Material Planner to support onshore routine maintenance activities by ensuring timely availability of materials and spare parts. The role involves procurement support, material master updates, and coordination with engineering and procurement teams.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop periodic reports for critical and urgent materials identified by end users
- Resolve procurement process requests in liaison with Procurement, Engineering teams and end users
- Support procurement of emergency materials for onshore routine maintenance activities
- Support new purchase/replenishment of capital, insurance and repairable materials
- Execute Material Master and Bill of Materials updates
- Support material Write on/Write off, WRD, preservation, and project handover processes
- Support technical clarification, repair, and material return processes
- Support Baker Hughes CSA team materials management
- Monitor projects spares readiness deliverables
- Interface between PMT, Maintenance department and other departments for materials requirements
Requirements
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in engineering
- 8 years’ experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industry in planning and spares parts management
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Computer literacy and familiar with industry specific computer programs

Job Purpose
- Support onshore routine maintenance activities by ensuring required materials and spare parts are available on time.
- Provide technical support for expansion projects related to maintenance deliverables.
- Support maintenance activities during Start Up and facilitate transition of projects into sustainable Producing Assets.
Key Job Accountabilities I
- Prepare and develop periodic reports for critical and urgent materials identified by end user.
- Resolve requests arising as part of procurement processes in liaison with Procurement, Engineering teams and end users.
- Support in the procurement of required emergency materials identified by end user for onshore routine maintenance activities.
- Support in new purchase/replenishment of capital, insurance and repairable materials required for onshore routine maintenance activities.
- Execute Material Master and Bill of Materials updates based on requests raised by end user.
Key Job Accountabilities II
- Support material Write on and Write off, WRD (MRS), preservation of stock material, Project hand over processes.
- Support in technical clarification, local and external repair, and material return process for materials required for onshore routine maintenance.
- Support Baker Hughes (BH) Contractual Service Agreement (CSA) team materials management.
- Monitor projects spares readiness deliverables to ensure safe, reliable start up and life cycle maintenance spares of new facilities.
- Interface between PMT, Maintenance department and other departments to ensure resolution of materials requirements during Project Phase and Operating Asset.
Qualifications
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in engineering.
Knowledge and/or Experience
- 8 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry or petrochemical industry in planning and spares parts management.
Technical and Business Skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Computer literacy and familiar with industry specific computer programs.
