Role Overview

What You'll Do

• Set MarTech strategy and architecture, including build-versus-buy decisions and vendor relationships.
• Drive a multi-year roadmap for marketing technology, automation, analytics, and personalization.
• Direct CRM, marketing automation, CDP, analytics, attribution, experimentation, and customer engagement platform strategy.
• Architect data flows between marketing, product, CRM, and warehouse systems.
• Establish governance for tracking, campaigns, lifecycle management, and data quality.
• Partner with Director- and VP-level Marketing, Growth, Data, Product, and Engineering leaders.
• Lead automation initiatives that reduce manual campaign operations.
• Own technical foundations for segmentation, lifecycle marketing, personalization, and reporting.
• Evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and own implementation and adoption outcomes.
• Create documentation, governance frameworks, and scalable operating processes.
• Monitor system performance, data quality, and operational risk.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to MarTech or marketing operations staff.

What You'll Bring

• 8-12 years of experience in marketing technology, marketing operations, growth operations, or a related field.
• Experience owning strategy and influencing technical decisions at Director or VP level.
• Deep expertise in CRM, marketing automation, customer data platforms, analytics, and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Braze, Iterable, Segment, GA4, GTM, Snowflake, BigQuery, Zapier, Workato, OneTrust, or related platforms.
• Strong SQL, API, and data integration fluency.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects, vendors, and budget or spend decisions.
• Executive-level communication skills and comfort translating technical tradeoffs.
• Ability to set direction in ambiguous environments.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience building or modernizing a MarTech stack from the ground up.
• Experience in healthcare, consumer technology, subscription, or other data-rich regulated environments.
• Expertise in experimentation, attribution, lifecycle marketing, or personalization strategy.
• Understanding of privacy, consent, and data governance requirements including GDPR, CCPA, or HIPAA.

• The base salary range is $125,000-$145,000 in local currency depending on experience and geographic location.
