Compensation

  • The base compensation range for the role is 110K to 140K CAD.
  • The compensation range excludes bonuses, equity, benefits, and other incentives.

Role Overview

Altus Group is hiring a Senior Manager, VAS Product Innovation & Delivery Operations reporting to the VP, VAS Strategy & Operations.

The role connects Valuation Advisory Services, Product, and Engineering by translating business priorities into requirements and guiding them through delivery.

The role supports a scalable operating model for identifying, prioritizing, and delivering capabilities through the ARGUS Intelligence platform.

This is a full-time, permanent hybrid role based in Toronto, Ontario.

Core Responsibilities

  • Translate VAS business needs into structured requirements and maintain a reliable intake source of truth.
  • Manage backlog refinement, prioritization, dependencies, sprint planning readiness, and delivery feedback.
  • Facilitate governance meetings, working sessions, prioritization forums, and sprint demos.
  • Track progress, decisions, risks, dependencies, and blockers across delivery teams.
  • Coordinate testing, UAT, release readiness, business-user preparation, and post-release feedback.
  • Simplify, standardize, and automate operating processes while documenting outcomes and lessons learned.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience in product operations, product delivery, business analysis, program management, or a related field.
  • Experience moving complex product or platform initiatives from business need through delivery.
  • Ability to create requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, or implementation plans.
  • Experience with backlogs, prioritization, sprint planning, demos, UAT, testing, and release readiness.
  • Ability to align business leaders, subject matter experts, Product Managers, Engineering, and technical teams.
  • Strong organization, communication, critical thinking, judgment, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial real estate or valuation experience is an asset but not required.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Aha!, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or Confluence is an asset.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled tools, automation, or process improvement is beneficial but not required.
