The job

Essential requirements

• 1) Leading and executing engineering studies in one or more of the following areas:  Power System Studies: Including load flow, short circuit, motor starting, transient stability, relay coordination, arc flash, harmonic analysis, and renewable energy systems (solar, wind, and battery energy storage).  Electromagnetic Switching Transient Studies: studies covering insulation coordination studies, lightning surge impact and GIS switching analysis.  Electromagnetic Interference (EMI/EMC) Studies:
• 2) Addressing interference issues in complex electrical environments such as Oil & gas plants, railways etc. Utilizing advanced simulation tools such as ETAP, PSCAD, CDEGS, or equivalent software to perform detailed analyses. Internal  Providing engineering recommendations for the design, operation, and optimization of electrical systems based on study outcomes, ensuring alignment with industry standards (IEC/IEEE) and client requirements.
• 3) Reviewing electrical systems including power distribution networks, industrial control systems, and renewable energy installations, ensuring compliance with international standards such as IEC and IEEE.
• 4) Managing project scope ensuring timely completion of deliverables within allocated man hours.
