Own the successful delivery of end-to-end data pipelines and platform capabilities across batch and streaming architectures

Partner with Product, Analytics, and Business teams to ensure delivery aligns with business needs
Technical Leadership & Architecture Oversight
Provide architectural guidance and technical direction across the data domain

Anticipate risks related to performance, scalability, and data quality and proactively mitigate them
Support the adoption of modern data technologies and frameworks
Strategy & Alignment
Translate business strategy into clear technical priorities and execution plans
Ensure alignment between long-term data platform strategy and near-term delivery goals
Lead prioritization discussions, balancing competing demands and resource constraints
Drive cross-functional initiatives that elevate the organization’s data capabilities
Engineering Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Champion coding standards, testing practices, and CI/CD adoption to ensure high-quality, production-grade systems
Promote a culture of experimentation, continuous improvement, and innovation
Lead efforts to improve team processes, system design, and delivery efficiency
Ensure strong documentation and maintainability of systems
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders within the data domain
Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Build strong cross-functional relationships to enable effective collaboration

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, with strong expertise in data platforms and systems
- 6+ years of people leadership experience managing engineering teams
- Strong background in: Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures Data engineering and pipeline development (batch and streaming) Programming (Python, SQL, PySpark) and data modeling Cloud data platforms and distributed systems

Familiarity with AWS data services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda)
Experience with orchestration and transformation frameworks (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Dagster)
Strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks
Experience in financial services or FinTech

- CTC Range: ₹ 71,31,986 - ₹ 1,04,60,246
- Total Compensation (CTC): Final CTC will be shared during the offer stage and will include all compensation components in detail as per EoR vendor's structure.
- Final compensation within the range is influenced by many factors including role-specific skills, depth and experience level, industry background, relevant education and certifications.
This role is hired through an Employer of Record (EoR) partner in India.
You will be legally employed in India through our EoR partner
While your legal employer is the EoR partner, you will work full-time and be fully aligned to Credit Acceptance
Your day-to-day work, responsibilities, and performance expectations will be consistent with our global team members
You will receive locally compliant payroll, benefits, and statutory coverage through the EoR partner
