The Opportunity

  • Our growing People & Culture team is seeking a Senior Manager, People & Culture to partner closely with leadership teams within our brand portfolio.
  • As a key member of the people and culture team, this role will collaborate with key leaders to develop people strategies across employee relations, compliance, and workforce planning while navigating complex people matters.
  • Your work will balance thoughtful employee experiences with practical, business focused solutions, ensuring our people practices remain collaborative and built to support the dynamics of a hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leaders across the business to develop people strategies aligned to operational needs
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters while supporting leaders in navigating complex people situations with practical and compliant solutions.
  • Manage the optimization of HRIS system to ensure processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with best practices
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and best practices across the company
  • Support the development and evolution of employee benefits programs that enhance overall employee experience
  • Lead compliance related initiatives by ensuring employee records, policies, and best practices align with employment legislation across all businesses
  • Support immigration and work authorization processes including LMIA applications
  • Partner with leadership team to lead health and safety initiatives ensuring safe workplaces and meeting regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Post secondary education in a relevant field.
  • CPHR an asset and/or minimum 3 5 years in a People and Culture related role.
  • Experience with and strong knowledge of Provincial employment laws.
  • Proficiencies with Push Operations is an asset
  • Experience in the hospitality or retail industry is an asset
  • Strong experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.

Compensation

  • Base salary range: CAD 105,000 CAD 115,000
  • Comprehensive health benefits and competitive bonus program.
