CMHA Calgary seeks a Senior Manager, Operations and Facilities to oversee space, IT hardware, facility maintenance, and contracted services. The role leads corporate services projects, ensures health & safety compliance, and manages procurement and inventory.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all space requirements, furniture, IT hardware, facility maintenance, office supplies, and contracted services
- Lead corporate services projects and manage procurement of goods and services
- Ensure CMHA Calgary meets all Health & Safety and OHS legislation
- Manage and maintain the company's Emergency Response Plan, Business Continuity Plan, and OH&S Program
- Liaise with departments, landlords, property managers, and contractors to ensure facilities meet requirements
- Act as point person for IT requests including hardware assignment, software installation, and account activation
- Oversee projects as identified by the Director, Finance & Corporate Services
Requirements
- Minimum of six years’ experience in a senior management role overseeing office administration, facility management, IT, and health and safety
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with specialty in project management or combination of experience and education preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and manage teams
- Knowledge of project management, contract, and budget administration
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing and maintaining Emergency Response Plans, Business Continuity Plans, and Occupational Health & Safety programs
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in property management including leases, rent roll, property management software

Position Summary
- Reporting to the Director, Finance & Corporate Services, the Senior Manager, Operations and Facilities provides tangible support for employees and clients.
- Oversees space requirements, furniture, IT hardware, facility maintenance, office supplies, and contracted services.
- Leads all Corporate Services projects and ensures compliance with Health & Safety and OHS legislation.
Functional Responsibilities
- Build trusting relationships with direct reports and stakeholders through thoughtful, authentic, and adaptive leadership.
- Build an effective team through guidance, coaching, and mentoring.
- Ensure performance management is focused on individual growth and goal oriented.
- Ensure succession planning processes and documentation are in place.
- Demonstrate role model behaviors encouraging a safe and wellness oriented culture.
- Participate as a member of the senior leadership team in strategic and operational planning.
- Ensure CMHA Calgary has physical resources needed for daily operations, including contract negotiation and staff management.
- Responsible for procurement of goods and services, including sourcing bids, RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
- Manage all purchasing for CMHA Calgary with oversight of Director.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of all organizational assets.
- Implement, manage, and maintain the company's Emergency Response Plan, Business Continuity Plan, and OH&S Program.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to oversee Health & Safety matters and training.
Qualifications And Skills
