The Senior Manager Human Resources is responsible for the leadership and management of the provision of operational and strategic advice of Human Resources (HR) functions within Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD).
The role is responsible for the provision of HR services that meet the needs of identified business partners, by providing leadership, direction and operational support to a team of Human Resource consultants.
The role also provides high-level advice and solutions in more complex matters, including but not limited to change management initiatives, reform agenda, workforce related policies and procedures, misconduct and performance matters, grading and award interpretation.
The Senior Manager Human Resources is to continually develop and manage the HR function of MLHD to ensure that the HR model of service is optimised through excellent stakeholder engagement, and practice that is contemporary and consistent across MLHD.
The role provides expert advice and guidance to Directors and General Managers when handling the most complex and sensitive matters across MLHD, such as reportable conduct or matters requiring external notifications, and works closely with the Senior Industrial Relations Specialist.
