Role Overview

Conducting independent control testing, monitoring and analytics to identify emerging risks and trends.
Providing specialist advice, guidance and policy support to stakeholders across the business.
Partnering with first line teams across Banking, Operations, Finance, Human Resources and other functions to strengthen risk management capability.
Supporting compliance with APRA requirements, New Zealand regulatory obligations and Rabobank Group standards.
Contributing to the development of a strong risk-aware culture across Australia and New Zealand.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Operational Risk Frameworks (Model & Data) to join our Risk Management team in Sydney. This is a high-profile second line of defence role, providing specialist oversight, challenge and subject matter expertise across key operational risk frameworks, with a particular focus on Model Risk, End User Computing (EUC) Risk and Data Management Risk .
Working across Australia and New Zealand, you will play a critical role in ensuring Rabobank maintains effective risk frameworks that meet evolving regulatory expectations while supporting the bank's strategic objectives.
About the Role

About You
You are a risk professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for operational risk management in a complex regulatory environment.
You will bring:
Significant experience in Operational Risk, Non-Financial Risk, Risk Frameworks or related disciplines within banking or financial services.
Strong knowledge of Model Risk Management, Data Management Risk and/or End User Computing Risk.
Experience operating in a second line risk function or providing independent oversight and challenge.
Sound understanding of regulatory frameworks, particularly APRA prudential standards (including CPS 220) and broader risk governance requirements.
Well-developed analytical and control testing capabilities.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of an organisation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including policy and framework development experience.
A collaborative approach and ability to navigate complex organisational environments.
